I thought I'd post my film ettiquet rules I wrote a while back. It's one of my pet peeves when someone breaks them.

Crystal’s Film Etiquette Guidelines

:bulletpurple:Do not talk constantly while shooting film.
:bulletpurple:Keep the camera very still. Do not move the camera from side to side, or up and down as this makes the viewers dizzy.
:bulletpurple:Take time to experiment and practice with the video camera, become acquainted with it.
:bulletpurple:Learn how to use any special options.
:bulletpurple:Consider arranging a trial dial-up conference.
:bulletpurple:Make a checklist of shots that need to be completed before the event ends.
:bulletpurple:Show interest in all the guests.
:bulletpurple:To avoid loss of picture quality, move in a fluid, non-distracting way.
:bulletpurple:Move and gesture normally, but avoid swaying, rocking, or pacing.

Incredible, no?

Has anyone ever heard of 8-bit theatre? I'm sure someone has. It's the best online comic EVER. Even if I had the worst day in the history of all the worst days ever, I can go to [link] and be all happy and tingly again... Go there! I command you!

...Please?...

I love talking smack about people I don't know...

Thu Jul 8, 2004, 6:16 PM
Another retard came in to see me today...:
I run the one-hour photo machine at work, and we have a digital picture machine that people can opporate themselves. The machine is touch screen. And we get a lot of old people in the store. Thoes two things are not very good bed fellows. But it makes for interesting dialouge...
Old Lady standing at the digital machine - "So, how do I start?"
I groan internaly...
Me - "Press the 'start' button."
Old Lady - "Where is it?"
Me - "It's that button thats a blue oval that says 'start'."
Old Lady - Starts randomly pushing on things every where BUT the screen... anything that even remotly looks like a button.
Old Lady - "It's not working."
Me - "It's a touch screen, you have to push the 'start' button on the screen."
Old Lady - "I don't see it..."
Me - *ball fists* I walk over to the screen and touch the 'start' button which is ON THE SCREEN OF THE TOUCH SCREEN LIKE I SAID A HUNDRED TIMES!
Old Lady - "Oh, on the screen... but my husband told me to not touch screens..."
Me - My throat involintarily makes a strangling sound... "This is a TOUCH screen, you can touch it."
Old Lady - "Well, this is too hard... I think I'll come back later..."
Me - *does a silent prayer*
